Thanks so much for the feedback, everyone! In answer to the questions - the green yarn is Koigu (merino), and the red is Morehouse Merino's lace weight, doubled up. Both are variegated colors. Morehouse farm is in upstate New York, and they come in to the Union Square farmer's market to sell their yummy wool.
