They offer up so much hope. Hope for kale and peas that won't be devoured by Ms. Groundhog and whomever else loves these sweet, leafy greens. And, WOW, you still had that package of ancient calendula seeds? So cool! Sorta sad they didn't germinate, but glad they will be returned to their proper home. We love seeds!!! I can't wait to see your garden! Can't bronze fennel be used to dye with? I think I planted some last year at my parents' place in Maine, but it didn't grow very well.
