I just knew the seed package had to be from Wendy! I'm finding a little time to read blogs again. My flowers are showing up; I'm remembering I've promised E some black-eyed susans and hosta. Maybe in the fall??

Who knew marrying again would require so much attention. :)

We love seeds!!! They offer up so much hope. Hope for kale and peas that won't be devoured by Ms. Groundhog and whomever else loves these sweet, leafy greens. And, WOW, you still had that package of ancient calendula seeds? So cool! Sorta sad they didn't germinate, but glad they will be returned to their proper home.

how exciting! I can't wait to see your garden!

Can't bronze fennel be used to dye with? I think I planted some last year at my parents' place in Maine, but it didn't grow very well. I'm hoping it comes back this year and that i can harvest it at last!
