		<description>Stunning.  I read recently for my Social Work program that 60% of American kids born into poverty now will remain in poverty into adulthood.  Terrible, yet sort of blew my mind - that 40% will not!  This is my grandmother&#039;s generation too; so many of us have completely transformed expectations today.</description>

I was also excited to see your mention of Ellenville, as I grew up on the other side of the mountain, in Gardiner (off of 208 between Wallkill &amp; New Paltz).  I&#039;m in Seattle now but always enjoy finding other people with ties to the Hudson Valley!</description>
