knit monsters

This mask was my first assignment when I took a class with Katharine Cobey.

Many of my guests are freaked out by it. I like it.

Packing requires touching everything, visiting a little.
CON: it slows me down. PRO: it entertains me.

I am so curious about the assignment…and what you did with it…was it to make a mask or do something that married use and and metaphor, or what?

It was to make a mask, she finds it’s a great way to explore shaping and making holes etc. What’s interesting is how everyone’s masks looked a little like them. Mine of course had heavy brows.

I would LOVE to know where you got the pattern from. If you can share it can you? I know of a 12yr old son……… I stand corrected ALMOST 13 (he’s peering over my shoulder) that would LOVE it for Halloween!
